Biography

Iván Marinovic is a visiting fellow at the Civitas Institute and a professor of accounting at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Before joining Stanford GSB, he taught microeconomics in the business department of Universidad de los Andes in Chile. Marinovic’s research focuses on applications of the economics of information in accounting and finance. Marinovic earned a B.A. in economics and an M.A. in financial economics from the Catholic University of Chile. He also earned a master’s degree in economic theory from the Toulouse School of Economics and a Ph.D. in accounting, information and management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Awards
Josh Blackman holds the Centennial Chair of Constitutional Law at South Texas College of Law and is an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute. He has authored three books, and his latest, An Introduction to Constitutional Law, was a top five bestseller on Amazon. He is a contributing editor to Civitas Outlook.
