Biography

Daniel Bonevac is a senior fellow at the Civitas Institute. He is also a professor of philosophy in the College of Liberal Arts at UT Austin, where he teaches and does research in logic and ethics, especially organizational ethics. His books include Historical Dictionary of Ethics (Rowman & Littlefield, 2023); Deduction (Wiley-Blackwell, 2002); Worldly Wisdom (Mayfield Publishing Company, 2001); Simple Logic (Oxford University Press, 1998); and Reduction in the Abstract Sciences (1982) which received the Johnsonian Prize from The Journal of Philosophy. Among his edited volumes are Today’s Moral Issues and World Philosophy.

Bonevac’s articles have appeared in journals such as Philosophical Review, Mind, Noûs, The Journal of Philosophy, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Synthese, Journal of Philosophical Logic, Ethics, Philosophical Studies, and Erkenntnis. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Awards
Josh Blackman holds the Centennial Chair of Constitutional Law at South Texas College of Law and is an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute. He has authored three books, and his latest, An Introduction to Constitutional Law, was a top five bestseller on Amazon. He is a contributing editor to Civitas Outlook.
